October 25, 2025
On Saturday, October 25, transportation professionals, students, and enthusiasts once again descended on NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering for the annual TransportationCamp ‘unconference.’
This year’s student-led event was attended by nearly 250 people, with several states, universities, and organizations represented. The day’s session topics featured ideas such as:
-Abundant Transit: Making the Leap from Scarcity to Freedom
-Make Buses Fast + Free
-How the Schedule is Made
-Shapes, Colors, and Names: Line Naming Convention
-Fixing Rutgers Football (Same-day Shuttle System)
-The Future of Autonomous Vehicles in NYC
As always, TransportationCamp is dependent on its student volunteers, both for the planning that starts months prior and for the many day of tasks that arise. Special thanks to Matt Fiore, recent NYU grad, for spearheading the planning committee for the 3rd year in a row.
Thank you to everyone who spent their Saturday with us. See you next year!
